Chicago native Renee Fernandez Porter isn’t one to judge your hot dog toppings or your address north or south of Madison. Having lived on both sides of the city, she’s seen the best of both worlds. With over 15 years of experience in product management and marketing, primarily in the digital realm, Renee has a deep understanding of the industry. She currently holds the position of Director of Digital and Technical Product Management and shares her expertise as an Adjunct Professor at Concordia University Chicago, teaching product management and graduate digital marketing courses.

Renee is passionate about mentorship and has spoken at the Women’s Leadership Conference at CUC on the value of mentors. She’s also a frequent panelist on topics like digital marketing, social media, and Latinas in technology. Whether it’s speaking, presenting, teaching, or moderating discussions, Renee thrives on sharing knowledge and engaging with others.

When she’s not immersed in the digital world, Renee enjoys spending quality time with her family in the near west suburbs of Chicago. She’s a firm believer in self-care and finds joy in things like reading a good book and travel.
